THE STORY OF TNA
Hey, I'm Emma, the founder of TNA Ltd. I'm a health, fitness and mindset coach based in Surrey with a mission to help women like you to feel healthy, happy and confident.
TNA started after battling with my own health journey - a blessing in disguise! Rewind 3 years, I was working in the corporate world, drained, unhappy, unhealthy and overweight. The epitome of exhaustion. After a BIG wake up call, I transformed my life through the three pillars of TNA: fitness, nutrition and mindset.
I opened the doors to TNA in 2019 and since then it's transformed beyond my wildest expectations. TNA is so much more than just a fitness studio, it's a community and I couldn’t be prouder of this growing collective of inspirational women.
If you want to join our community and achieve your own personal goals (whether that's to lose weight, have a healthier relationship with food or feel happier in your own skin) our doors are always open!
MEET THE TEAM
Hi, I’m Harriet. Over the years I've been into all sorts of sports; swimming, tennis, badminton, running, sailing and cycling. I’ve taken part in cycling challenges in the UK and abroad, and also love obstacle races such as Tough Mudder and Spartan.
A few years after having children, I wanted a new fulfilling career (not the old job in the IT department, if I have to tell someone to reboot again I’ll go nuts!). So, I followed my passion to qualify as a fitness instructor. During lockdown I set up my own outdoor fitness classes. It was immensely rewarding and fun helping people get fit and feel positive.
Coaching at TNA is a dream job for me because the company has a brilliant philosophy in helping women achieve their goals and improve their lives. I love to help clients feel great about themselves and bring a friendly, helpful and understanding approach.
Hey, I'm Sarah!
Having been a serial dieter since the age of about 14, I spent my 40's and 50's at a weight I accepted as okay but living with the constant fear of overeating and an unhealthy 'good' and 'bad' attitude towards food. In 2018 Emma worked gently and determinedly with me to let go of my food restrictions, tune into my body and hunger hormones, and get myself feeling fit and healthy.
The confidence that I now have in my body and myself led me to qualifying as a trainer and coach with TNA in order to help women with the process I have been through. I believe all women deserve to feel good in their own skin and recognise how healthy nutrition and fitness has such a positive impact on that.
Veronica, but most people call me Vee. I have been into fitness since the age of 15 when I fell in love with resistance/weight training. Since then I have loved taking part in many forms of fitness; martial arts, group classes and boxing training (where I met my husband and trained to be a qualified England boxing coach).
At the end of 2021, I qualified and gained my PT Level 3 and started working at TNA. I love being part of the team and love the clients, who are a community of ladies that are like a big TNA family.
My core values are to always be compassionate, positive, with sincerity and integrity. I am passionate about helping others grow into their confident, best selves and I find great fulfilment in uplifting others.
Hi, I’m Jeanette!
Asides from a bit of open water swimming, I have never really been interested in sport and fitness and have always had a love/hate relationship with food. I was your classic yo-yo dieter, and tried pretty much every ‘diet’ under the sun from Slimfast to Atkins only to come away from every single one bigger than I started and never wishing to go back once I'd fallen off the wagon.
Then I found Emma and TNA! I’m now pretty proud to say I was one of the original members from day 1; I am still here and still going despite having had 101 excuses to quit during that time. I come out of every workout feeling like I can conquer the world as its completely tailored to what I can and can’t do at that moment but always pushes me beyond where I think I can go. Whilst I have had a lot of health distractions, I am just starting to bring my focus back to my nutrition and TNA are there again to help me, to avoid the pit falls, to help keep me motivated and to keep me accountable.
Now, I get to give back by helping behind the scenes with the admin, as the company expands to its second location – such an exciting time! I’m also here with an empathetic ear and words of encouragement if and when needed.
Hi, I’m Laura!
I’ve always been really interested in fitness and nutrition, so in 2020 I decided to swap out my desk job and qualified as a personal trainer.
Since then, I’ve focused on working with women find their own strengths and help them realise what they are capable of. I’ve also completed my nutrition coaching and pre and post natal qualifications.
Over the years I’ve had a few things go wrong with my body, which made me realise how important physical health really is and how it isn’t something to take for granted.
I think community in fitness is really important, which is why TNA is so special. I’m really excited to be working in an environment that makes health and fitness so accessible. As a coach, my aim is to help you enjoy your workouts, understand and work with your body - rather than feeling like it’s working against you!
